Bubbaloo, a methodological example

Even though the challenges Pierini Partners has had to face for the preteens segment is diverse, designing for a variety of chocolates, candies and gums; few sweets have awakened the studio’s interest as much as Bubbaloo. Cadbury, the world’s leading candy and chocolate corporation decided to revamp the image of one of its most important brands worldwide and trusted Pierini for the job, considering that Adrian Pierini has one of the vastest trajectories in all of Latin America and has had a close relationship with the company for years.

 

Upgrading the brand: The pre-existing Bubbaloo brand was based on soft lines and was closely linked to the product (a soft gum with a juicy filling). Facing this situation, Pierini Partners took the brand to a much sharper and dynamic image with a 3d feel. These resources where aligned to the visual language the target was used to seeing in different places on a daily basis.

Pierini Partners created Bubbaloo’s new image, including the redesign of its

main character, its logo and the packs aesthetics for implementation in all of

South America.

 

Worldwide aesthetic codes: The change resulted in an absolutely positive experience and the brand changed completely, including its main character that was revamped and for whom a normative manual was created in order to have clear design systems worldwide. The logo, icon and general layout gave result a renewed aesthetic that is eye catching and shows differentiation.


Palitos de la Selva, Trident, Yapa, Yummies, Chiclets and more: Modernism, novelty and playful attributes are some of the traits that make Pierini Partners the go to studio for these kinds of projects. In charge of the design of local packs such as Palitos de la Selva, famous in Argentina for it’s animal characters, to the creation of activation pieces for regional implementation like Trident in Colombia and Ecuador, Pierini has successfully created diverse solutions with great results and has become a reference when quality is wanted.
